Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Demand Planning Manager to join a dynamic Demand Planning team. Managing a team of four Demand Planners, this role is pivotal in driving both internal statistical forecasting and external customer forecast alignment.
You will take ownership of Demand Planning inputs and outputs within the S&OP process, while continuously improving forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a proactive approach to embedding best practices across demand planning processes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in demand forecasting, excellent analytical capabilities, and the confidence to communicate effectively across departments. You will partner closely with Supply Planning and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team of four Demand Planners
* Represent Demand Planning in key S&OP meetings
* Analyse historical sales data, trends, and develop short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts
* Own and improve the accuracy of demand planning reports across the business
* Partner with Supply Planning to identify risks and opportunities within the supply chain
* Collaborate with Sales leadership to improve forecast accuracy and product availability
* Define, track, and report on Demand Planning KPIs
* Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Procurement teams
* Maintain and enhance forecasting tools and systems
* Support strategic initiatives alongside the Head of Planning
* Set team objectives and manage performance reviews
Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience in Demand Planning or a forecasting-related role (ideally within FMCG)
* Strong experience with statistical forecasting and modelling techniques
* Proficiency in demand planning tools and ERP systems
* Experience working within S&OP / SIOP / S&OE frameworks
* Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar analytics tools is desirable
