What you’ll be doing
As our Mechanical Estimator, you’ll be right at the heartbeat of our project activity. Your role will include:
- Reviewing client specs, drawings and technical documents
- Producing detailed and accurate mechanical estimates and costings
- Working with engineering, planning and project teams to validate scopes
- Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Supporting bid submissions and contributing to tender strategy
- Helping ensure Engenda remain competitive, consistent and commercially strong

What we’re looking for
We’d be excited to speak with you if you have:
- Mechanical engineering or estimating experience within industrial, energy, chemical, utilities or fabrication environments
- Strong understanding of materials, labour, and installation methodologies
- Confidence interpreting drawings, P&IDs and technical scopes
- Great communication skills — you’ll be speaking with clients, partners and internal teams daily
- A proactive, organised and detail‑driven approach
- The ability to work on multiple bids at once without losing accuracy
