The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced MIG / TIG Welder to join their day shift production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established manufacturing environment, producing high-quality fabricated components while contributing to a skilled and supportive team.
The successful candidate will primarily focus on precision TIG welding of thin gauge materials, alongside MIG welding and light fabrication work. This role is ideal for a welder who takes pride in producing quality work, maintaining high standards, and working collaboratively to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out MIG and TIG welding on thin gauge materials ranging from 0.9mm to 10mm.
* Weld and fabricate components using mild steel and stainless steel materials.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols accurately.
* Conduct self-inspection and quality checks on completed work.
* Communicate production progress and any issues with the Welding Team Leader.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
* Support wider production activities where required.
* Work in accordance with health and safety procedures and quality standards.
About You
* Minimum of 5 years' MIG and TIG welding experience, ideally with thin gauge materials.
* Competent in both MIG and TIG welding processes.
* Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
* Sheet metal fabrication knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.
