We are looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing & Goods-In Assistant to support our client’s procurement team. This is a varied role involving purchasing administration, supplier liaison, stock control, and goods-in support.
Responsibilities:
* Raise purchase orders using Sage 50.
* Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and support cost-saving initiatives.
* Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.
* Monitor supplier performance and resolve queries.
* Assist with stock checking and goods-in processes.
* Support procurement projects and day-to-day administration.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in administration, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain is required.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Confident using Microsoft Office; Sage 50 experience is advantageous.
* Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive.
* Own transport is essential due to location
