We are looking for a reliable and proactive Crane Operator to join our Production team on a fixed term contract basis.
This is a hands-on role supporting lifting operations, equipment handling and daily production activities within a busy workshop environment.
The successful candidate will play an important part in maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment while assisting production technicians with day-to-day duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating cranes safely within production areas
* Carrying out rigging, slinging and lifting duties
* Supporting production technicians with daily operational duties
* Carrying out general workshop housekeeping, including sweeping, floor cleaning and waste disposal
* Completing local driving duties for deliveries and collections
* Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
* Assisting with other related duties as required
Skills & Experience Required
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Strong team player with a proactive attitude
* Health & Safety focused mindset
* Full UK driving licence essential
* Forklift licence essential (16T FLT licence desirable)
* Valid crane operator licence essential
* Slinging and lifting qualifications essential
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who is dependable, safety-conscious and experienced in lifting operations within a production or workshop environment. Previous crane operating experience is highly desirable
