About the Role
We're looking for an experienced legal editorial professional to lead quality strategy for UK and Ireland legislation content. This is a unique opportunity to influence how trusted legal information is created, maintained, and optimized for the next generation of digital and AI-driven products.
As the UK Legislation Editorial Quality Lead, you'll play a critical role in ensuring legislative and regulatory content remains accurate, authoritative, and AI-ready. Working closely with editorial, product, and technology teams, you'll define quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and help shape innovative publishing workflows that support our online-first strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the quality strategy for UK and Ireland legislation content, aligning regional objectives with global standards.
- Design and implement quality frameworks, governance processes, audits, and controls to ensure content integrity.
- Use data, customer insights, and audit findings to identify opportunities for improvement and drive measurable outcomes.
- Partner with Product and Technology teams to advance AI-enabled quality initiatives and modern publishing workflows.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to standardize best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
- Champion a culture of quality through coaching, training, and leadership reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Law degree or equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience within legal publishing, legal content, or legal editorial environments.
- Proven success designing and implementing quality assurance frameworks and audit processes.
- Understanding of AI-assisted editorial workflows, digital publishing, and content quality management.
- Experience working with XML, content management systems, and data-driven decision making.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across global teams.
- Ability to turn complex data and quality findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and continuous-improvement mindset.

- Experience working with legislative or regulatory content across multiple jurisdictions.
- Exposure to digital transformation or content modernization programs.
- Experience supporting AI readiness initiatives within a publishing or legal information environment.
