Mechanical Technician (Electrical Training)

£40,000 - £42,000 + Overtime (OTE £49k) + Training + Progression + 30 Days Holiday + Company Bonus

Are you a qualified Mechanical Technician or similar looking for the opportunity to join an innovative business that manufacture special purpose vehicles and can offer expert electrical training to enable a multi-skilled career path?

In this role you will be responsible for fault diagnosing, installing and maintaining gearboxes, diesel engines and braking systems of electric yard tractors. You will receive full in-house training on all equipment.

Established for over 10 years, this specialist company provides the sale, servicing and maintenance of specialist yard tractors and heavy-duty equipment for customers across the UK and Ireland. With a growing team of 23, they are now looking for a Workshop Engineer to join their team and support their continued growth.

This role would suit a qualified Mechanical Technician or similar who is looking for full electrical training to enable your technical development, becoming a truly Multi-skilled Engineer.

The Role:

Maintaining, fault diagnosing and repairing electrical yard tractors
Full electrical training to enable your technical development
Progression opportunities into supervisory and managerial positions
Optional overtime, paid at 1.5x
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmThe Person:
