Distinct is partnering with a rapidly scaling, digitally driven organisation to find an Interim Senior Finance Business Partner for their FP&A function.
Position: Interim Senior Finance Business Partner Leicester – 2 days on-site Contract – 6 months - Salary: to £95K
This is a highly commercial position in which you will work closely with senior leaders across Technology, Operations, and Support Functions to support planning, cost management, and strategic decision-making. You'll take ownership of forecasting, reporting, and financial modelling across key cost areas, whilst playing an integral role in headcount planning, operational efficiency, and the analysis of technology investment
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across support functions
- Collaborate with Tech leadership on resource planning, ROI, and capital investment decisions
- Manage accounting for capitalised development costs
- Support operating model design and headcount planning
- Produce insightful analysis and clear month-end commentary
- Identify and drive cost optimisation and operational efficiency improvements
- Develop strong working relationships with senior stakeholders outside of finance
About You:
- Solid background in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance business partnering
- Experience working within fast-moving, tech-led, digital, or high-growth businesses
- Good working knowledge of capitalised development costs
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- A confident communicator with the ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders
- Professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is desirable but not a requirement
