Job Description:
In March 2023, HPE acquired OpsRamp, a market leader that offers SaaS-based, AI-driven modern IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions. OpsRamp's technology has now been integrated with HPE GreenLake platform, available standalone as-a-service, and embedded within HPE's compute, storage, and networking solutions.
HPE OpsRamp is now hiring a Solutions Architect (presales) based in Belgium or in the Netherlands to create the overall technical vision for ITOM solutions for our clients and prospects in Europe.
What you'll do:
- Partner with the local sales and pre-sales technical teams to drive the technical sales process.
- Have a strong understanding of the IT Operations market and the competitive landscape.
- Have a strong understanding of the cloud native market.
- Be able to manage and sell to large, complex technical environments by becoming the trusted advisor for customers (strong technical and interpersonal skills).
- Have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Be able to deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations.
- Think outside of the box, be creative, and always strive to find new ways to solve customer challenges.
- Understand complex customer environments and be able to deliver Proofs of Concept and initial software implementations.
What you’ll need:
- Understand new technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, and other container technologies.
- 5+ years of Solution Architecture experience.
- Have some level of programming skills (Java, Python, PHP, JSON, NodeJS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Ability to design implementation architectures.
- Ability to build integrations using a REST API.
- IT Operations Management (ITOM) Experience is preferred.
- Experience around tools like DataDog, New Relic, AppDynamics, DynaTrace is a plus.
- English speaker with French (any other European languages are advantageous).
