**Job description:** As a car mechanic or commercial vehicle mechanic, you are responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs and MOT inspections on passenger cars and/or commercial vehicles. You work together with a team of experienced colleagues and report to the workshop manager.
**Tasks and responsibilities:** - Carrying out periodic maintenance on cars and commercial vehicles. - Diagnosing technical problems and carrying out repairs. - Carrying out MOT inspections and ensuring the administrative handling thereof. - Testing vehicles after repairs and maintenance to ensure they are safe and functioning properly. - Advising customers on necessary repairs and maintenance. - Contributing to a safe and clean working environment.
**Job requirements:** - Completed training as a car technician (MBO level 3 or 4) or a comparable technical training. - Demonstrable work experience as a car mechanic or commercial vehicle mechanic. - Valid APK inspector certificate is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for detail. - Customer-friendly attitude and good communication skills. - In possession of a driving license B (driving license C is a plus).
