About the roleFor our Rotterdam site, we are looking for a driven Financial Controller who feels at home in a complex, international manufacturing environment and knows how to optimise, professionalise and future‑prove financial processes. In this role, you will lead our local Finance Team and carry overall responsibility for the full financial management of our Dutch organisation. You will act as a strategic business partner for both local management and the international leadership team, with whom you will work closely. This position reports to the central finance function at PAC’s headquarters.
Key responsibilities- Lead the local finance team (4+ employees)
- Take responsibility for the full financial administration: A/P, A/R, G/L, payroll, costing and banking
- Prepare and analyse monthly and annual closings, budgets and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow, cost structures and investment plans
- Ensure compliance with both local and international laws and regulations
- Coordinate external and internal audits
- Optimise ERP processes (preferably IFS; experience with other systems is also welcome)
- Contribute to financial reporting and consolidation (experience with Oracle FCC or similar tools is a plus)
- Continuously improve financial processes and internal controls
- Actively contribute to decision‑making, business cases and strategic projects
You have strong analytical skills, a naturally curious mindset and a continuous drive for improvement. You combine financial insight with leadership and a hands‑on attitude.
You also bring:
- At least 15 years of experience in finance roles, with a broad understanding of all key financial processes (A/P, A/R, general ledger, payroll, banking and costing)
- Proven experience in complex international multi‑brand and multi‑site organisations, preferably US‑based
- Experience leading a finance team (5+ FTE)
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS
- Experience with consolidation platforms (Oracle FCC is a plus)
- A background in cost accounting and financial analysis
- Experience with external and statutory audits
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English
