- Participate in an analysis of (new) prospects, to safeguard that the KYC/CDD documentation meet our standards as well as to define the overall risk of their business model
- Supporting business with drafting, analyzing, and negotiating various (international) contracts
- Participating in a framework to conduct controls in terms of compliance to laws and regulations before executing a transaction and arranges communication with the (Energy) department if their advice is needed
- Update, develop and/or review compliance and legal policies
- Provide support to our Energy department on potential clients regarding AFS acceptance policies
- Provide any other legal and compliance support when required
- Master's degree in law
- At least 1 - 2 year of experience as a corporate lawyer in a commercial environment or law firm.
- Proactive and hands-on approach
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Excellent communication in English and Dutch (Spanish and / or Italian pre)
- You have good communication skills and are a real team player;
- You work independently and in a structured manner, you are operationally oriented and you have a critical mindset.
