You will be responsible for reviewing, validating and coordinating all Naval Architecture deliverables while acting as the technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take technical ownership of the Naval Architecture scope for assigned projects.
- Review and validate calculations related to stability, hydrostatics, weight management, vessel performance, load line, tonnage and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with classification society requirements, flag state regulations and applicable international standards.
- Translate complex regulations into practical and buildable engineering solutions.
- Coordinate technical discussions with classification societies, suppliers and engineering partners.
- Support production by resolving technical issues during construction.
- Provide technical support during docking, launching, transport and sea trials.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within shipbuilding or the superyacht industry.
- Strong knowledge of stability, weight estimation, weight monitoring, inclining tests and sea trials.
- Experience with reviewing and validating Naval Architecture calculations.
- Good understanding of international maritime regulations, classification rules and flag state requirements.
- Experience with REG Yacht Code is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and engineering judgement.
- Ability to work independently while taking ownership of technical responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.
