At Transferz, we're building a global ground transportation platform serving 150+ countries, and we need engineers who treat the codebase like it's theirs. Not "responsible for", actually theirs. From architecture decisions to production incidents, from technical strategy to customer impact. What We're BuildingA microservice platform and product suite that handles ground transportation for 10,000+ travellers daily. The challenge isn't extreme scale – it's building the right things quickly and maintaining quality as we grow.

What the Role Looks LikeYou'll design and build features end-to-end. You'll influence technical direction across multiple teams. You'll bring experience to the table to influence the roadmap and guide fellow engineers. You'll challenge product ideas with technical insight and our own business ideas to enhance the ground transportation experience.
We work in-person from our Amsterdam office because we value the energy we get from this high-bandwidth collaboration. This is a small team where your decisions visibly shape the company's trajectory.

- 5+ years building production React applications
- Strong TypeScript skills and modern React patterns (hooks, context, server components)
- Experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- A sharp eye for UI/UX quality (you notice when padding is off and it bothers you)
- A healthy mindset to embracing AI to make yourself more productive
- Experience with monitoring and performance optimisation
- Currently residing in the Netherlands with a valid work permit
- Familiarity with component libraries or design systems
- React Native / Expo experience
- GitHub Actions experience
- Comfort being hands-on with DataDog
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Understanding of backend concepts (Node.js, REST/GraphQL API design)
