Service Engineer (ATLA Propulsion Controls)

For one of our group companies, we are looking for a Service Engineer. In this role, you will primarily work for ATLA Propulsion Controls, while benefiting from the opportunities and stability offered by an established group of companies. Applications can be submitted either through AEGIR-Marine or directly via ATLA Propulsion Controls.

Traveling the world, visiting giant shipyards, various vessels. With a background in electrical engineering, that’s exactly what you can expect as an Electrical Service Technician at ATLA Controls. We’ll provide the training you need. Oh, and by the way — it pays very well too.

When electronic systems go down, we step in. Once you’re on board, you become the go-to expert for propulsion control systems. You might be swapping out a circuit board one day or solving a complex signal issue the next. Sometimes it’s a straightforward hardware replacement; other times, you’ll be doing some serious troubleshooting, diving deep into the software. In short: some jobs are quick fixes, others are full-on detective work. You’ll handle service assignments both on-site and back at our workshop.

• Diagnose electrical and technical issues and provide effective solutions.

For a full-time position, you’ll get:

• At least one year of experience as an electrician, service technician, or electrical service engineer.
• A valid driver’s license (Category B).
