Gen AI Prompt Engineer

As a Prompt Engineer within our Generative AI Foundational Team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the capabilities of our cutting-edge generative AI systems. Working at the intersection of natural language processing and machine learning, you will contribute to the development and refinement of prompt engineering strategies, ensuring optimal performance and ethical use of our AI models. Your work will be essential in driving innovation, improving user experiences, and pushing the boundaries of what generative AI can achieve.

Responsibilities:Prompt Design and Optimization:

1. Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and researchers to design effective and efficient prompts for training and fine-tuning generative AI models.
2. Analyze and iterate on prompt strategies to enhance model outputs, ensuring relevance, coherence, and alignment with user expectations.

Model Evaluation and Fine-tuning:

1. Conduct thorough evaluations of model performance using various metrics and user feedback.
2. Implement fine-tuning processes based on insights gained from evaluations to continually enhance the quality of model-generated content.

Data Analysis and Pre-processing:

1. Work closely with data specialists to identify and preprocess relevant training data for prompt engineering.
2. Analyze and interpret data patterns to inform prompt design and optimization decisions.

Ethical AI Implementation:

1. Collaborate with our AI ethics team to ensure the responsible and ethical use of generative AI technologies.
2. Contribute to the development and enforcement of guidelines for ethical AI practices.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

1. Document prompt engineering best practices and methodologies.
2. Share knowledge and insights with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Research and Innovation:

1. Stay abreast of the latest developments in natural language processing, machine learning, and prompt engineering.
2. Explore and experiment with novel approaches to improve the performance and capabilities of our generative AI models.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
2. 5+ years’ experience and strong background in AI/ML technology.
3. Experience with prompt engineering or related fields is highly desirable.
4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks.
5. Commitment to ethical AI practices and responsible AI development.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
