The RoleAs a Junior Process Engineer within the Lithography Cluster, you will support daily production operations and contribute to the development and stability of our lithography processes. Working closely with senior engineers, operators, and cross‑functional teams, you will help ensure reliable production, high‑quality output, and continuous process improvement.
This position offers a strong growth path toward full process ownership and technical expertise in lithography equipment and metrology.
Your ResponsibilitiesOperational Support
- Provide day‑to‑day support for lithography processes and tools
- Troubleshoot issues related to wafer handling, resist coating, exposure, and development
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain stable workflow and high‑quality output
Process Ownership (Current or Future)
- Become (future) owner of back‑end lithography processes
- Maintain documentation and process windows
- Drive improvement initiatives for reliability, yield, and repeatability
Technical Tasks
- Create and validate stepper/scanner exposure jobs
- Perform SPC using control charts, trend analysis, and root cause investigations
- Conduct film thickness measurements using reflectometry or similar tools
- Perform and interpret SEM cross‑sectional analysis for CD and profile verification
- MBO degree with several years of hands‑on wafer processing experience
- HBO starter with affinity for semiconductor manufacturing and materials science
- Experience with cleanroom protocols and microfabrication is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Hands‑on mindset with affinity for high‑tech equipment
- Able to work accurately in a cleanroom environment
- Flexible to support operations outside normal working hours
- Living (or willing to relocate on own expense) within a 30 km radius of Eindhoven
- Proactive attitude and strong willingness to learn
- Basic data‑analysis skills (Excel, Minitab; Python is a plus)
- Good communication skills (English mandatory)
