Are you ready to play a pivotal role in our exciting journey? As our Purchasing Analyst you will support the Global Direct Procurement team in developing and implementing sourcing strategies. Everyday you will drive best value for spend, ensure that risk is understood and managed appropriately through research, analysis, and working with cross-functional teams.

You will be part of a global and diverse team and report to the Director of Global Specialty Raw Materials & Packaging.
In this role you will:- Be responsible for accurate internal procurement data and data analysis.
- Consistently improve the data and report quality.
- Translate data into business information, monitoring and analysing performance and trends within direct spend to identify issues and opportunities.
- Track procurement KPIs based on different business requirements and develop KPI tools if necessary.
- Support Category Managers in all kinds of business requirements, including but not limited to historical data digging and price forecasting.
- Collect, update, and provide key inputs to rolling forecast and budget preparation.
- Lead activities across functions, collaborating with Finance and Business Controllers, Supply Chain, Business Lines, Sustainability as well as R&D teams.
- Coordinate procurement digitization projects. Being the owner of procurement-related tools and work closely with Group Digital Services (GDS) organization to continuously improve the tools.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering and/or Business Administration or equivalent. Alternatively, a relevant combination of formal (procurement-related) qualifications and additional specialized studies.
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts (TCO context), purchasing processes (sourcing and operational) in business-to-business context, and data gathering and processing processes & tools (Excel, PowerBI, etc.).
- Proven analytical skill and ability.
- Experience within procurement or market intelligence, knowledge of chemical industry, and a general understanding of the procurement area are welcome.
- Results-oriented mindset.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for new challenges.
- Ability to cope with diverse environments (different cultures, cross-functions etc.).
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Fluent in English in both writing and speaking; knowledge of other language is a plus.
