Vacancy informationAs a Senior Project Engineer High Voltage, you are involved from A to Z in the design and realization of high-voltage substations at project sites. You are technically responsible for the engineering of challenging high-voltage projects. Depending on the size of the project, you may lead a small team and independently carry out the engineering work.
What this means:
- You are responsible for a wide range of secondary and primary engineering tasks (work packages).
- You are an all-rounder familiar with all types of high-voltage installations in the industry, from 110 kV to 380 kV, including the relevant standards and regulations.
- You collaborate with (project) management, clients, various authorities, and suppliers.
- You prepare system documentation, functional and technical specifications. You create proposals, reports, schedules, work descriptions, specifications, and operational overviews.
- You monitor budgets and review and analyze post-calculations.
- You proactively track project progress, resolve bottlenecks, and report your findings.
- You also perform quality checks and are responsible for project documentation.
What You Bring to Succeed:
- A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree (in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field).
- Extensive experience in technically managing projects.
- Proven and recent work experience with grid operators and/or industrial projects.
- Strong command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- Key competencies: analytical, structured, safety- and quality-conscious, and a true team player.
