Job DescriptionTo strengthen our team in IJmuiden, we are looking for a Maritime Technical Service Engineer. In this shore-based role, you will support the technical management of a part of our operational fleet. You will work closely with the Superintendent and be involved in maintenance, repairs, and technical improvements. This is a great opportunity for a (diesel) mechanic or technical professional with the ambition to grow into a Superintendent role.
Key duties- Perform technical maintenance and repairs on our vessels
- Support and guide our shore-based engineers
- Manage maintenance data in the MARAD system
- Plan and coordinate dry dockings in cooperation with the Superintendent
- Technical education, preferably in maritime engineering, shipbuilding, or mechanical engineering
- Experience as a (diesel) mechanic, marine engineer, or similar technical role
- Interest in the maritime industry and ambition to grow into a coordinating position
- Hands‑on, solution‑oriented, and proactive attitude
- Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
- Valid Category B driver’s license
- Living within a 50 km radius of IJmuiden
