App Developer (Android)

The Android Developer will join our in-house App Development team, which consists of two Android and two iOS developers. Additionally, they will work closely with a diverse team of designers, product managers, and testers to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the app development process.

The Android Developer will be involved with developing new features, fixing bugs, and performing maintenance. With their strong communication skills, the Mobile Developer will play a pivotal role between business and technology, as well as between front-end and back-end teams.

• Develop new features, fix bugs, and maintain the Budget Thuis mobile application
• Act as a key liaison between business and technology, fostering effective communication
• Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure cohesive development
• Contribute thoughts and ideas to the broader vision of Budget Thuis

• +4 years of relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of Android SDK
• Minimum 3 years experience with Kotlin
• Commercial use of Jetpack Compose
• Kotlin Coroutines, Flow
• Good knowledge of OOP principles
• Knowledge of Android's most used architectural patterns like MVVM etc
• Experience in pro-active decision making
• You’re a strong communicator who enjoys talking to the business stakeholders without intervention from the product owner
• You thrive on new projects and are a strong team player
• Proficiency in Dutch is a plus, not a must

• A gross salary between € 4.500 and € 6.500 depending on knowledge and experience (based on 40 hours)
