We are DycoTrade, an international software company based in Aalsmeer, The Netherlands. With several teams and a total of 90 professionals, we develop and implement our own CTRM (Commodity Trade Resource Management) solution for commodity trading companies across the world. This Microsoft-certified solution, built on Dynamics 365 ERP Finance & Supply Chain Management, supports global clients in industries like coffee, grains, dairy, and metals. Your role as a Solution ArchitectAs a Solution Architect, you design and lead the implementation of our CTRM solution that drives the core business of our clients. You bridge business and technology, translating complex needs into scalable, future-ready designs on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
You’ll work closely with clients, project teams, sales, and developers, guiding the design, architecture, and integration decisions that shape every implementation. You’ll play a key role in shaping DycoTrade’s next-generation ERP solutions as part of our mission: "The road to ISV."
A typical day might look like this:
- Morning: You kick off with clients — sometimes on-site, sometimes over MS Teams — to translate their business goals into clear requirements. You enjoy asking the right questions and connecting the dots between processes and possibilities.
- Afternoon: You dive into designing scalable, future-proof ERP architecture using Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and integrations for the business requirements you gathered earlier today. Some project team members contact you to have a critical look at the configuration or design they have created. With your helicopter view, you make sure it aligns with the overall solution and meets the DycoTrade Success by Design standards.
- End of the day: You wrap up by guiding the project team through design or configuration choices and documenting progress in DevOps. Before logging off, you prepare tomorrow’s data migration update, making sure both client and team stay aligned.
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant in ERP implementations
- Proven expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management OR similar ERP solutions with a focus on Commodity Trading
- You’re confident leading discussions with both C-level stakeholders, key-users and consultants, and you enjoy helping others grow through coaching and clear communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Fluent in English
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in commodity trading industries (coffee, grains, dairy, metals)
- Familiarity with Power Platform, integrations
- Experience with Success by Design methodology
- Dutch speaking on a professional level
