We are looking for an electrical project manager to lead their team!

They specialize in the design and construction of Broadway/ musical shows around the world.
Think of shows like Harry Potter, The Wizard of Oz, Tarzan, and The Lion King.
They have clients all over the world and deliver the highest grade of quality possible in the branch.
The company is about 40 people big and want to be ahead of the curve in the industry.
As the Project manager, you are the head of the engineering department.
Once an order has been made, you will be the leading force in making the stage become a reality.
You will take the wishes of the client and turn those into a plan & schedule on how to build the stage.
All stages will be custom‑built and require several control systems, drives, power supplies and software.
Some components you will see will be hidden carts, rotating platforms, fly installations, and international power supplies.
The most important thing is that the show will look great. You will need to balance performance, safety, and show.
- Leading the electrical engineering department and coordinating daily operations.
- Work preparation and planning of electrical engineering projects, including preparation of schematics and drawings.
- Purchasing and inventory management of electrical engineering components and materials.
- Managing employees responsible for the construction of switchboards and other electrical systems.
- Monitor the progress of production processes and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Working closely with the software and mechanical departments to ensure integration and functionality of systems.
- Implement and optimize processes within the department.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Ridder iQ, to initiate internal orders and manage administrative processes.
- Eye for the team and interpersonal skills, aiming to lead a stable and functioning electrical engineering department.
- Experience with variable speed drives, preferably Lenze 9400.
- Knowledge of control systems, specifically Sigmatek.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or similar field.
- Experience in a leadership role within an electrical or automation environment.
- Experience with work preparation, ordering and inventory management.
- Practical knowledge of electrical engineering schematics and control systems.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Ridder iQ.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Hands‑on mentality and a proactive work ethic.
- Affinity with the theater and entertainment industry is a must!
