Job Description

You enjoy the challenge of helping leading Sopra Steria customers to see their wishes and requirements for new complex applications realized in the right way and with the right quality in production. You know how to think along in an Agile context about the right test approach and associated tooling at each test level. You are able to reason from a global process level to features and how to connect these with (integration) testing. Connecting business, IT stakeholders and working in a Sopra Steria High Performance team appeals to you.

We work in multidisciplinary High Performance Teams, so you are interested in developing your analytical, technical and Pega skills. You know how to make others aware of the impact of testing and quality assurance. You enjoy contributing to the development of our field and practice. You are a specialist in your field and know how to set up and automate various test types.

What you bring:

• A WO/HBO degree, in the field of IT is a plus.
• You can communicate fluently in Dutch.
• Two to five years of experience as a tester and you are ready for a second step in your career.
• You know how to oversee complex (primary) business processes & the (technical) IT landscape.
• You are familiar with devising a practical and supported test approach.
• You are in possession of a TMap and/or ISTQB certification.
• Advanced level certifications are a plus but you may also join us.
• Experience with test automation and test tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Fitnesse, SoapUI or Tosca.
• Interested in topics such as Agile, CI/CD, security, API, test data management, BDD, TDD.
• The drive to become more proficient in the low code Pega platform.
• You know how to determine the business needs and customer journey together with domain experts and together with the system architects to create a Minimum Lovable Product.
• To streamline the customer processes we use the leading Business Automation Platform Pega within our area, and you enjoy the challenge of immersing yourself in it at the functional level.
• Methods such as Design Thinking, Value Stream Mapping, Lean and Agile thinking interest you and you enjoy applying them.

You’ll become a part of a major Tech player in Europe recognised for its consulting, digital services, and software development. On top of that, you’ll join the area RulesMatter! As a young, energetic and active area, we want to prepare our customers for the continuous change that is the order of the day. We do this by housing their primary processes in a rule-based application. We are a full-service area, by which we mean that we own the sourcing required for a project; the preparation and the build and run. The tooling we use is broad; Pega, Oracle Intelligent Advisor, Open Source solutions such as Camunda, Siebel and Robotic Process Automation.

The area consists of 2 distinctive practices; the "Business Process" practice and the "Technical Business Process Automation" practice. Within this area, more than 90 professionals work in a logical and appropriate professional practice. A dynamic team where sharing knowledge and insights is a great thing.
