Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our data and analytics team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate should 3 to 8 years of professional experience in Azure DevOps.

• Interact with senior stakeholders at our clients on regular basis to drive their business towards impactful change.

• Become the go-to person for end-to-end data handling, management and analytics processes.

• Lead your team in creating the pipeline for Data management, data visualization and analytics products, including automated services and APIs.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of data pipelines for data management, visualization, and analytics products.

• Support the design of platform infrastructure, network, and security, and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure security, compliance, and cost efficiency in cloud environments.

• Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.

• Help ensure our data platform operates efficiently and remains online.

• Collaborate with senior team members to develop and deploy automated services and APIs.

• Gain experience with Unix/Linux and network fundamentals.

• Support deployment processes with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.

• Work with Azure and its data platform and analytics components.

• Develop skills in automation and open-source tools.
  

• Understanding of IT operations and process re-engineering.

• 3 to 8 years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or IT infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, cloud fundamentals and Azure DevOps (other cloud platforms is a plus).

• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or DP-203) are recommended and will be considered a plus.

• Interest in learning about data analytics and cloud operations.

• Experience working in azure data platform projects.

• Experience or coursework in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
