In this role, you’ll

• Lead the design and delivery of modern data platform architectures for a variety of clients.

• Translate business needs into actionable technical roadmaps and data solutions.

• Guide clients in adopting best practices for data governance, security, and scalability.

• Oversee implementation across cloud environments like Azure or AWS.

• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned and deliver measurable impact.

• Stay ahead of emerging trends and assess how they can enhance our clients’ data capabilities.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, both within Xomnia and at client sites.
  

What you bring to the table

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.

• Proven track record designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions.

• Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.

• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).

• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with modern data tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, etc.).

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience guiding teams and driving technical decision-making.

• Fluent in Dutch (required) and English.

• A collaborative, problem-solving mindset and eagerness to share knowledge.
