- You have at least 4 years of experience working as a back-end engineer.
- Giving and receiving feedback is something that comes as a second nature, you want to grow yourself and the people around you.
- You excel in coding in C# and have a thorough understanding of the .NET framework or similar frameworks and languages.
- You embrace agentic development tools such as Cursor to explore options quickly, automate repetitive toil, and keep quality high.
- You know or are interested to learn how to apply mature development practices like automated testing, infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
- Able to write simple and effective code that solves business problems
- You are actively working on developing yourself, eager to learn and open to different idea's.
- You are diligent and kind, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- You live in the Netherlands and can work together with the team in our Hilversum office at least 2 times a week.
- Contribute to the features of your development team, by designing, building and operating features end to end.
- You talk to business and understand their needs over their asks, trying to optimize value creation for the products that you work on.
- You contribute to your chapter, improving our engineering practices and growing the development teams across the company.
- You don't mind contributing outside the area of expertise, in the end it is more important to get a feature out well than it is to get your part done.
- You help and coach more junior developers by providing feedback and guiding them in their tasks.
You will be working in our of our teams working on the content supply chain. We build software to make sure all our video content will be processed and distributed to our products (Linear TV, Videoland and many more) correctly and effectively. So whether it's transcoding video's, orchestrating content workflows and making sure that our metadata is complete and correct, all content will be touched by the software we build and maintain.
