About the position
As Corporate Controller, you will play a key role in supporting both the operational and strategic decision-making processes within BRB, working across our two business units: LAC (Lube Oil Additives and Chemicals) and Silicones. You will deliver accurate and timely internal and external financial reports, forecasts, and analyses, and you’ll lead the budget process and ensure robust financial governance.
Your main tasks will be:
- Prepare month end and year end closing activities as well as Regulatory reporting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Provide actionable business insights through financial analysis and serve as a advisor to both business units and legal entities.
- Coordinate annual planning and budgeting processes.
- Contribute to the preparation and finalization of the annual report.
- Support ad hoc requests and projects (change / improvement) from BRB, PCG and Petronas.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, risk, and control standards.
You will join the finance team within BRB and you are part of the Corporate Control team of Specialty Chemicals. This global team is working locally in Sweden, Malaysia and NL.

What you bring
For this position, we are looking for someone with at least 3 to 6 years of work experience in a similar role. You have demonstrable experience in presenting to and advising senior management.
In addition to being numerate, you are also analytical. You can not only read an Excel file but also understand and analyze it. You thrive in a dynamic, international environment and is skilled at translating numbers into strategic insights. You are a proactive communicator, a strong team player, and someone who seeks to drive continuous improvement.
What qualifications are required?
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting;
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting is a plus;
- Experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);
- Dutch is an advantage.
You preferably live within an hour’s drive from our office in Ittervoort.
