What impact will you make?Your primary responsibility will revolve around creating, implementing, and managing software contracts, providing legal and contractual support to internal stakeholders across the organization, and fostering a strong working relationship with them.
You will be tasked with creating, reviewing, and participating in the negotiation of material purchasing contracts and proposals, working closely with business owners.
The Legal Counsel is based in the Netherlands and will assist the General Counsel as required.
What will you do?- You will be offering contract support (Sales, CSM, and Purchase).
- You will support the Sales department with onboarding of new customers (creating standards/templates, reviewing customer papers, negotiating together with Sales).
- You will support Sales/CSM with renewals.
- You will be supporting Purchase for all functions where applicable.
- You have an educational background in Law and a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience as a (business) lawyer.
- You have experience with software contracts within an international SaaS company.
- You are a commercial lawyer with a strong interest in contract drafting and negotiation.
- You show integrity under pressure and balance the requirements of different internal and external stakeholders.
- You are a problem-solver with the ability to find creative legal solutions to complex issues.
- You are an agile person with a strong sense of ownership and leadership.
- You are available to work for 24 to 32 hours a week.
- You have strong communication skills and working proficiency (verbal and written) in German and English.
- You preferably have Italian language skills.
