Within this context, you will play an important role in the Aerospace Coatings Customer Service Team by managing efficient order receipt and order-to-cash processes and acting as the first level contact for customers questions and complaints resolution.

You will be focused on our European customers and it is essential that you are fluent in English (Italian and any other languages an asset).

The work location can be either Sassenheim – The Netherlands or in Italy

Customer Services Representative (English and Italian speaker)

Key responsibilities

It requires you to perform a wide range of tasks as you manage efficient order receipt, always prioritizing timely order processing and good customer interactions and relationships.

Thus you:

  • Support the order-to-cash process with excellence in order processing;
  •  Register and process customer orders in the ERP system (SAP) received via email, phone or through other customer channels;
  •  Ensure order processing is handled correctly and in full, then transferred to the transporters (logistics), raising any issues with your Supervisor;
  •  Act as first level contact for customer questions and complaints resolution;
  •  Complete registering/filing/archiving of customer service-related documentation.

It is essential that you gain rapid and adequate customer and product knowledge so that you can find solutions for customer needs. On an ongoing basis you make proposals for improvements to work processes as you:

  •  Assure cooperation between customer service and field force (sales/commercial) regarding administration of customers’ orders;
  •  Cooperate closely with the Logistics function to maintain consistency in approach towards customer service in the organization.

At all times you adhere to all applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HS&E standards and acts in compliance with all regulations.

• High level of spoken and written English, with Italian and any other languages an asset;
• Bachelor (Higher Vocational Education/HBO) level of working and thinking;
• Relevant commercial and/or logistics education and training;
• Accurate and experienced in SAP order processing;
• High level of Excel and Microsoft office programs;
• Methodical and structured in thinking and doing.
