You are responsible for
In this role you will be accountable for:
Supporting the review of procurement agreements and the negotiation thereof with suppliers;
Assessment of marketing claims, with guidance of a counsel where required;
Group-wide review and negotiation of non-disclosure agreements and management of NDA-tool;
Support in the preparation of contract amendments;
Support in contract template maintenance;
Legal know-how administration and management, retrieving and organizing information from across the world.

As of July 1, 2021, the Domestic Appliances business will be operated as a company stand-alone from the Philips Group. The headquarter of Domestic Appliances is in Amsterdam. The Domestic Appliances business is a global leader in kitchen appliances, coffee, garment care and home care appliances. It has successfully launched groundbreaking products such as the Airfryer, full automatic coffee machines with the easiest to clean milk system LatteGo, the PerfectCare Elite steam generator and SpeedPro Max Aqua cordless vacuum cleaner.
The Domestic Appliances Legal team is focused on providing pro-active and top-notch practical support. The Legal team consists of 20 legal counsels with 15 nationalities and operates globally. 9 counsels are based in Amsterdam. As paralegal you will work together with two legal counsels to provide valuable advice and support to Domestic Appliances’ business and operations, ensuring successful execution of business and operational strategies. You will work day-to-day with highly experienced professionals across legal, marketing, procurement, supply chain and IT.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
3+ years of experience in commercial legal work;
Bachelor degree or more in (Dutch) law;
Excellent command of English;
Team player who likes to work closely with business at all levels;
Proven ability to work independently; an eagerness to master the process; and comfort in asking for help;
Proven to be flexible, pragmatic and hands-on;
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook and ability to master new IT systems
