the SEO Specialist is a key contributor to our organic search program aimed at driving organic traffic to our European eCommerce sites across banners and languages. The SEO specialist works with the Manager SEO to develop SEO strategies and roadmaps, building concepts to improve organic search value across on-page optimizations, technical SEO, offsite authority building and key word analysis. This role works closely with the agency to optimize and analyze our rankings, monitoring the effectiveness on a day to day basis and reports on progress and results for all relevant KPIs. This person is able to execute and work within the key SEO tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SemRush, Google Analytics). Together with the Manager SEO the Associate Manager SEO coordinates and communicates with all relevant internal stakeholders, such as performance marketing, digital merchandising, creative & content, to optimize the performance across our organic channel. This role is the point of contact for digital marketing when it comes to technical components in planning campaigns, promotions or other activities concerning SEO.

You assist with ensuring all store information details are fed to the relevant channels, such as Google My Business and Facebook.

  • Contributing to the creation of a comprehensive SEO strategy and roadmap for all brands / stores including on-site measures and technical requirements
  • Optimization of measures related to increasing the visibility index, the number of visitors and sales
  • Implementation of technical improvements and continuous optimization of SEO related content
  • Collaborate with the external SEO agency
  • Briefing, supervision as well as quality control of the technical requirements of the digital marketing team
  • Monitoring of and compliance with the SEO budget
  • Focus on increasing organic value through onsite optimization, technical enhancement and off-site authority building
  • Identification of new SEO potentials
  • Coordination and communication with global SEO team
  • Creation and analyzing of reports on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis on key KPIs
  • Partner with the Digital Merchandising and product teams to identify, and provide feedback on top-performing styles and collections to optimize organic value creation
  • Develop best practices approach for analyzing and optimizing SEO traffic drivers, including gathering and analyzing data to identify KPIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business marketing, economics, business informatics or similar
  • Several (+2) years of experience in online marketing, with deep knowledge in the field of SEO
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics & SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, ScreamingFrog, SemRush, etc)
  • Strong analytical skills with a high understanding of numbers and their interpretation
  • Strong technical skills to drive technical SEO enhancements and being able to connect and brief technical teams.
  • Proven working experience in B2C eCommerce, preferably retailer or agency
  • Accurate and conscientious work
  • Fluency in English (verbal & written)
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and measurement
