In this role, as a Product Marketing Director (ELDS) you will represent ELDS product marketing in the country to grow sales and market, defining, planning, and ensuring implementation of product marketing strategies in assigned area to meet business objectives and in line with global product strategy for Electrification Business Area in Seoul, South Korea, meeting business targets and aligning with global product strategy. Reporting to the Local Business Manager, you will oversee all sales and marketing activities, and support sales organizations in driving sales and services of respective products.

Your responsibilities
  • Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to–market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy
  • Ensuring achievement of established targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed, focuses on achievement of total demand orders (ABB and 3rd Party), growth margin %, net price variance, net promoter score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and requested on-time delivery
  • Developing and implementing annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant business units/product groups, preparing business plans focused on business development for a defined market
  • Evaluating market opportunities and deciding appropriate activities in line with the strategy
  • Coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units where appropriate
  • Ensuring profitable business growth in the domestic market and a balanced growth through all product lines/product groups/business units
  • Creating demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value base selling approach, implementing business unit market pricing policy
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, understanding customer needs in the market by visiting customers
Your background
  • 10+ years of experience in sales or product marketing with ELDS (SWGR, DA, appratus) product
  • Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy
  • Knowledge and experience of salesforce
  • A BA/MA degree in electrical engineering / mechanical engineering
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills in English, as well as relationship-building skills
