Based in Maidstone, you'll become part of a close-knit team delivering temporary works solutions for some of the region's most prestigious construction projects across London and the South East. Working on behalf of leading contractors, you'll contribute to a varied portfolio of complex and technically challenging schemes, producing innovative engineering solutions from concept through to delivery. Alongside hands-on design work, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, work closely with clients, undertake site visits and continue your professional development towards Chartership, supported by a business that actively invests in its people and encourages long-term career progression. The successful candidate will be an experienced Civil or Structural Engineer with a strong design background and knowledge of temporary works within the UK construction industry. You'll be confident managing your own workload, communicating with clients and supporting junior engineers, while enjoying the challenge of working across multiple projects in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

What You Need To Succeed
Previous experience in a design-focused consultancy role within the UK construction industry.
Strong understanding of temporary works design and BS5975.
Proficient in AutoCAD, with the ability to produce and interpret engineering drawings.
Ability to prepare engineering calculations and develop practical, buildable design solutions.
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and contractors.
Experience mentoring or supervising junior engineers would be advantageous.
Working towards, or already holding, Chartered status with ICE or IStructE would be desirable.
A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
