Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading company in the power generation sector to recruit a Project Administrator for the construction of a new Energy from Waste power plant in Wisbech.

The Project Administrator role comes with a competitive salary + benefits and is contracted for 40 hours per week with flexibility.

Responsibilities and duties of the Project Administrator role

Reporting to the Project Manager you will:

Provide administrative support to project and site teams.

Assist with contract administration and record keeping.

Maintain and update the document control system.

Ensure all documentation complies with UK legislation and company policies.

Monitor and manage site stock and supplies.

Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics for staff and visitors.

Manage visitor access, inductions, and site records.

Prepare and distribute reports, meeting notes, and correspondence.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably within a fast-paced project or site environment.

Background in construction, engineering, or heavy industry is highly desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable with digital document management systems.
Demonstrated experience in minute taking, document preparation, and maintaining accurate records.
