We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a major construction development in Weymouth. This is an exciting opportunity for a Freelance Site Manager to join a well-established project team delivering a high-profile scheme consisting of 75 new high-rise apartments and commercial spaces. The project is based in Weymouth and is expected to run for approximately 12 months.
The successful Freelance Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project progresses safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a proactive Freelance Site Manager who is confident coordinating multiple trades and maintaining clear communication with the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day site operations on the development of 75 high-rise apartments and commercial units

Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
*
Ensuring all work meets required quality standards and project specifications
*
Overseeing and enforcing site health and safety procedures and compliance
*
Monitoring site progress and reporting updates to the Project Manager
*
Conducting site inspections and resolving any issues that may impact programme or quality
Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Freelance Site Manager on residential or mixed-use construction projects
*
Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and quality control
*
Experience managing multiple trades on active construction sites
*
Ability to report clearly on project progress and site performance
*
Relevant site certifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid)
