About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade / Damp & Mould Operative to join a growing maintenance team delivering works across social housing and residential properties.
This is a varied role combining damp & mould treatment with general multi-trade repairs, ideal for someone with a strong maintenance background and experience working in occupied homes.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect properties to identify causes of damp and mould, including condensation, leaks, and penetrating damp
Carry out mould treatments, stain blocking, and apply anti-mould coatings
Complete ventilation improvements such as installing vents and improving airflow
Undertake multi-trade repairs including plastering, painting, basic carpentry, and general maintenance
Carry out responsive repairs in occupied and void properties, ensuring minimal disruption
Provide tenants with advice on preventing damp and mould recurrence
Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company standards
Accurately record job details using PDA/handheld systemsRequirements
Proven experience in damp & mould treatment and/or multi-trade maintenance
Good understanding of damp causes and remedial solutions
Experience within social housing or residential environments preferred
Ability to carry out a range of trades to a good standard
Strong customer service and communication skills
Full UK driving licence (essential)What We Offer
