What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver engaging Essential Skills training in Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills.
* Support learners to achieve Essential Skills Wales qualifications within agreed timescales.
* Deliver one-to-one and group-based learning sessions tailored to individual needs.
* Register learners and organise, conduct and invigilate controlled assessments in line with awarding body requirements.
* Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain high achievement rates.
* Produce and maintain accurate learner records and assessment documentation.
* Develop learning resources to support effective delivery.
* Build positive relationships with learners and employers to encourage engagement and progression.
* Travel across your allocated region to meet learners in the workplace.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve quality standards and performance targets.
* Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements, safeguarding, quality assurance and organisational policies.
About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about education and committed to helping learners succeed.
Essential
* Experience delivering Essential Skills, Functional Skills or Adult Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills.
* Experience working within work-based learning, apprenticeships or adult education.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Strong IT skills.
* Ability to motivate and engage learners from a variety of backgrounds.
* Good understanding of safeguarding and learner welfare.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Desirable
* TAQA, A1 or equivalent Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards).
* Essential Skills Practitioner qualification or equivalent.
* Experience working with publicly funded training programmes.
* Welsh language skills.
