The company work with leading blue chip international renewables companies, primarily on Onshore Windfarms, Solar Farms and Battery Storage facilities.
Role
As a QS you will advise clients from the initial design stage, working on estimates for the project, procurement and tendering, and contract administration. You will assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work
* Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour and time
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities / pricing schedules with the project team and/or the client
* Negotiate contracts and work schedules
* Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction
* Advise on a procurement strategy
* Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
* Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
* Produce detailed cost reports
* Value completed work, oversee bills and arrange payments
Candidates should ideally have:
A relevant Quantity Surveying degree
Pre & post contract experience
Experience in the NEC or FIDIC forms of contract
Experience in Renewables, Infrastructure or M&E
Remuneration
