SEN Teachers / Teaching Assistants (Part-Time, Monday–Friday)
Location: Acorn Wood School
Hours: 09:00 – 14:00 (Term Time Only)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
*
Assist in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities
*
Support students’ emotional regulation and social development
*
Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
*
Contribute to behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*
Experience working with children or young people (education, care, or support settings)
*
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
An understanding of additional needs such as ASD, SEMH, or learning difficulties (desirable but not essential)
*
A willingness to learn and adapt to individual student needs
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
