The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the job:
* Install, service, maintain, and repair a variety of industrial and commercial door systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults and implement effective repairs.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
* Conduct site surveys and assessments prior to installations and repairs.
* Complete service reports, maintenance records, and job documentation accurately.
* Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding door operation and maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.
* Participate in an on-call rota where required.
* Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
Experience installing, servicing, and repairing industrial door systems.
Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturers' manuals.
Understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
Electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, or related industry certifications.
Experience with industrial door control systems and automation.
Knowledge of fire door compliance and testing requirements.
Manufacturer-specific training certifications
