Location: Ruddington, Nottingham
Hours: Monday to Friday morning and afternoon shifts
Overtime: Saturday time and a half | Sunday / Bank Holidays double time
Wagstaff Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector for a well-established precision manufacturing business in Ruddington.
This is a hands-on inspection role within a clean manufacturing environment, inspecting machined components and working closely with the wider Quality and Manufacturing teams.
What you’ll be doing
First-off, in-process, final and visual inspection
Inspecting machined components against engineering drawings
Using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and other precision measuring equipment
Identifying and raising non-conformances
Supporting problem solving, corrective actions and internal audits
Maintaining accurate quality and inspection records
What we’re looking for
You will need previous inspection experience within a machining, precision engineering or manufacturing environment, together with:
Ability to read engineering drawings
Practical experience using micrometers and calipers
Dimensional and visual inspection experience
Good attention to detail
Experience with CMM, OGP, gauge pins or GD&T would be advantageous but is not essential.
Package
Salary up to £33,000
10% premium on afternoon shifts
5% annual bonus
