Warehouse Operative

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving, unloading, and storing incoming goods.
Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory records.
Operating warehouse equipment and pallet trucks safely.
Assisting with goods-in, goods-out, and general warehouse duties.
Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Following health and safety procedures and company policies.
Working as part of a team to achieve daily targets and deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or dispatch environment.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic IT skills.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Flexible approach to shift work.Desirable:

FLT, Reach Truck, Counterbalance, VNA, or PPT licences.
Experience using warehouse management systems.
Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
