SEN Teaching Assistant - Newham - £95 to £110 Daily Rate - Full Time - September Start - Primary School

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Newham. This full-time position is available for a September start and offers a competitive daily rate of £95 to £110, depending on experience.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work within the school's dedicated SEN provision, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and make progress both academically and socially.

Working closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff, you will deliver tailored interventions, adapt learning activities to meet individual needs, and provide both one-to-one and small group support where required. You will also encourage positive behaviour, promote independence, and help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and confident working with children with a range of special educational needs. Previous experience within an SEN provision or supporting pupils with SEN in a primary school is highly desirable.
