The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Collaborate with staff across the business to ensure the effective implementation of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) management systems in accordance with ISO standards 45001, 14001, and 9001.
Manage and oversee a comprehensive programme of process monitoring and inspections, both in the office and on-site.
Engage and promote a high level of awareness and participation in HSEQ matters among all team members.
Work closely with the wider management team to ensure operational safety and regulatory compliance.
Administer issue and incident reporting processes, coordinating timely responses and follow-up actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in implementing and managing HSEQ procedures within a workplace environment.
Recognised certification in Health and Safety, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, is highly desirable.
Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, with a confident and collaborative working style.
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
Experience working in construction or related industries is advantageous.
Access to a company vehicle for commuting and business purposes upon successful completion of probation.This is a full time, permanent role, based in Nairn.
