Accounts Assistant

Due to continued success, a head off location of a group of business or various industries, including manufacturing, retail and hospitality, has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team,. You will provide key and varied accounts/finance support to the business:

Processing high‑volume invoices, including multi‑currency and international supplier accounts
Raising invoices, allocating payments, and supporting credit control
Daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple entities
Liaising with overseas suppliers, resolving queries, and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with month‑end and year-end processes
Supporting the team in streamlining workflows across the group
Providing support when required for Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control

We would expect the successful Accounts Assistant to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of accountancy processes, be an excellent communicator and have a familiarity with accountancy software. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within accounts administration, finance assistant or a finance coordinator position.

You will be joining the Uppingham Head Quarters of a company that has been established for 70 years with an enviable reputation in their field of business. Working directly with the Finance Manager, this role offers variety on a daily basis.
