REPORTING
Studio Manager
ROLE OVERVIEW
Working within a creative studio team as a Lead Stylist for George in our ecomm studio on both model and still life. This is a full-time onsite role (5 days per week) responsible for delivering commercially strong, brand-aligned styling across high-volume fashion shoots. Previous management experience beneficial as the styling team will report into this role.
Please note this role is studio based, 5 days per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain and evolve the George online styling identity, ensuring styling remains commercially strong, brand-aligned and consistent across all outputs.
· Apply a creative styling approach while working at pace in a high-volume studio environment, with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
· Meet daily shoot targets while maintaining a high standard of styling and working with the wider team to minimise reshoots.
· Develop a strong understanding of each product, including key selling points, areas of focus and product care requirements.
· Proactively monitor current trends, competitor activity and trade information, sharing relevant insights with the wider team.
· Work closely with the Samples Manager to organise clothing, prepare outfits, arrange items in shoot-schedule order, and ensure garments are steamed, fitted and pinned appropriately.
· Take responsibility for the care, organisation and upkeep of studio and wardrobe areas.
· Maintain a consistent and organised workflow, completing daily tasks and aiming to exceed agreed targets and deadlines.
· Adhere to client style guides where applicable and contribute to keeping them relevant and up to date.
· Problem-solve styling challenges quickly and calmly during live shoots, acting as a key decision-maker when required.
· Partner with Production to maintain workflow efficiency, reduce reshoot risk and support continuous improvement of studio processes.
· Provide ad hoc support to the Sample Lead with sample processing when required.
· Support additional social and campaign styling when required.
· Manage the styling team, including recruitment, appraisals, performance reviews and day-to-day guidance.
SKILLS
· Significant experience as a senior stylist within a high-volume e-Commerce studio environment.
· A strong portfolio demonstrating on-model e-Commerce fashion styling across menswear and womenswear, with proven experience styling a wide range of product categories.
· Excellent understanding of fit, proportion, garment preparation and presentation within a fast-paced studio setting.
· Highly organised, with experience pulling together creative looks and managing multiple priorities to schedule.
· Excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and develop.
· Awareness of current still-life, social media and competitor trends, with the ability to translate them into customer-appropriate styling.
· Strong communication skills, helping to keep shoots on schedule and support effective collaboration across teams.
· A good understanding of the customer, brand positioning and how to move the brand forward while remaining relevant.
· Confident making independent decisions and navigating complex or sensitive client conversations in a calm, solution-focused manner.
· Experience contributing to style guides and brand documentation.
· Collaborative, enthusiastic and positive approach.
