The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We're working with a food manufacturer to recruit a Technical Assistant into their Quality and Technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with QA, QC or Technical experience within food manufacturing who is looking to broaden their exposure across food safety, quality systems, auditing and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
- Carry out GMP, fabrication and internal audits across the site.
- Support microbiological sampling, swabbing and quality testing activities.
- Assist with customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.
- Complete CCP verification and validation activities.
- Review production paperwork and report non-conformances.
- Conduct traceability exercises, temperature audits and quality checks.
- Support supplier quality activities and raw material assessment.
- Coach and support operational teams on quality standards and best practice.
About You
- Experience within a QA, QC or Technical role in food manufacturing.
- Good understanding of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety requirements.
- Experience working within a Quality Management System.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confidence working closely with production and operational teams.
- Food Science, Food Technology or a related qualification would be advantageous.
Salary: Up to £36,000 + potential bonus
Location: London
Shift Pattern: Flexible rota across Monday to Saturday.
