The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Support Worker Social Housing

BRC is currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to work within social housing services across Cardiff, supporting young people aged 16 to 24.
We have a variety of opportunities available, including relief work and flexible shift patterns, covering days, nights, and weekends, as well as more structured 9 to 5 contracts.
The roles will involve:
Supporting young people to maintain their tenancy and develop independent living skills
• Providing day to day welfare support and completing regular checks
• Supporting with housing related issues, including rent, budgeting, and tenancy sustainment
• Creating and updating support plans, risk assessments, and case notes
• Encouraging engagement with education, employment, training, and community services
• Supporting residents with emotional wellbeing and building confidence
• Working alongside external agencies and professionals to achieve positive outcomes
• Responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns and challenging situations
• Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents What we are looking for:
Minimum 6 months experience working in a support role
• Experience within social housing, supported accommodation, homelessness, youth services, or similar settings
• A valid Enhanced DBS check in date
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
