The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Talentmark are recruiting for a Validation Scientist, on behalf of a medical diagnostic company. This role will be based at their site in Gateshead and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours.
The Role:
To undertake validation activities relating to gel electrophoresis product development in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Perform testing of gel electrophoresis products according to pre-assigned testing and validation protocols, identifying and investigating any detrimental trends via good attention to detail and root cause analysis.
Design investigative experiments and write clear, detailed testing plans following appropriate protocols/guidelines and GMP/GLP standards.
Record, input and interpret data and present results in a scientific report format.
Organisation of own workload on a day-to-day basis, to ensure tasks are completed to schedule.
Creation of new and update of existing validation protocols in line with updates to international regulations.
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation relating to regulatory submissions.
Develop, maintain and apply in-depth theoretical electrophoresis knowledge to support validation activities and development opportunities.
Work in accordance with Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines when handling reagents and chemicals used in automated and manual techniques, complying with all statutory and site safety regulations.
Routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.Essential Skills:
BSc within the life-sciences disciplines with relevant laboratory-based experience.
Experience with GLP (good laboratory practice) in and industry setting and sound knowledge/interest in Electrophoresis.
Competent in the use of the Internet and Microsoft Windows programs including Word, Excel Power Point, and other statistical analysis software.
Experience in supporting Validation activities.Apply:
